We had a week off from school because the hurricane knocked out power all across the state, and then a week later, when the ground was still saturated, we got seriously heavy rains. I got allll the way to my school, fording about two new cross-road rivers, only to find a completely empty parking lot.

Yep.

THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
The poor kindergartener was just sitting there calmly, waiting for someone to do something.

One thing that really stands out about the almost 200 comics (so far) waiting to be made is that I have to exaggerate VERY little for humor...a lot of these comics are word-for-word conversations or actual events as they happened. Because elementary school kids are a real trip. :)
